The Alaska Perinatal ECHO is a virtual network intended for medical providers caring for pregnant patients and their newborns. This series providers up to date information and support for Alaskan healthcare stakeholders.

Our May 19, 2022 session will take place from 6:00-7:00pm and cover Refugee Health in Pregnancy.

Presenters:

Issa Spatrisano is the Sr. Director of Refugee Resettlement and Food Resources at Catholic Social Service’s Refugee Assistance and Immigration Services (RAIS) program. In this position, Issa also serves as the State Refugee Coordinator for Alaska. Issa has worked 10 years in refugee resettlement and has served in a variety of roles including case management, reception & placement, education, and employment services. Issa has assisted forced migrant communities in Alaska, Missouri, Oregon, and Kansas, allowing her to bring a broader perspective to refugee services in both an urban and rural setting.

Dr. Delana Eby  is a Senior Resident with Providence Alaska Family Medicine Residency.
