The Alaska Perinatal ECHO is a virtual network intended for medical providers caring for pregnant patients and their newborns. This series providers up to date information and support for Alaskan healthcare stakeholders.

Out March 17, 2022 session will take place from 6:00-7:00pm and cover Breastfeeding Update and Considerations Amidst a Large Formula Recall.

1. Apply best practices related to lactation and breastfeeding, including the latest recommended management strategies for re-establishing the milk supply among infants

2. Describe considerations for parents attempting to re-establish breastfeeding among infants previously formula fed

3. Describe current situation of formula availability in Alaska
